Raul D. Gierbolini-Rivera is from Carolina, Puerto Rico. He is a 3rd year PhD student in Public Health Sciences Program. He received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and Master’s in Public Health from the University of Southern Maine. Before joining the Brown School, he was trained as a Certified Athletic Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He currently conducts research on how physical activity and the built environment contribute to health and climate change outcomes. Raul D.
