She applies epidemiological methods to investigate interventions aimed at reducing stunted growth and development. Iannotti leads projects in Haiti, Ecuador, and East Africa where she collaborates with local partners to test innovative, transdisciplinary approaches using animal source foods and small livestock and fisheries development. She is founder and director of the E3 Nutrition Lab, working to identify economically affordable, environmentally sustainable, and evolutionarily appropriate nutrition solutions globally. Juliet Iwelunmor Professor of Medicine ijuliet@wustl.edu A passionate advocate for health equity and sustainability, Dr. Iwelunmor is widely regarded for understanding how to make evidence-based interventions last, reshaping the focus on community engagement using participatory research, improving the dissemination of health information, while amplifying the voices of young people in health interventions. Her experience includes designing and managing projects, collecting and organizing data, conducting analyses using a number of different statistical tools, supervising staff, and mentoring students/trainees across levels (undergraduate, masters-level, PhD, MD and residents) from project conception to completion. She has spent much of her research career focused on the etiology of pediatric cancer in both the general and high-risk (Neurofibromatosis Type 1) populations. She has more recently become engaged in research relating to disparities in access to care among children and young adults diagnosed with cancer. Maura Kepper Assistant Professor 314-935-0142 kepperm@wustl.edu Maura Kepper conducts research to reduce the burden of the social, economic, and environmental conditions that can negatively impact the health of individuals and communities. Her research intersects behavioral health, informatics, and dissemination and implementation research. She uses epidemiologic methods to evaluate the effects of environments on health and works to develop, implement, and sustain interventions to address modifiable risk factors for chronic diseases.
