Olivia is interested in health communication and health promotion. Her research focuses on developing new methods, in addition to fact-checking, to combat health misinformation, especially about primary and secondary disease prevention. She has extensive experience in data analysis and data visualization using various analytic tools. Before joining the Ph.D. program in Public Health Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, Olivia obtained a Master of Science Public Health degree in Human Nutrition from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and worked for several years in a cancer prevention and control program at a local health department.
