Josehart is president and CEO of Alexander Jewish Family Service in Houston and serves as a member of the Brown School National Council. He is a healthcare executive with more than 30 years of experience leading organizations focused on community support and social services.
The Houston Business Journal recognized Josehart for his visionary leadership, commitment to innovation and dedication to strengthening communities across Greater Houston.
“A leader is only as strong as the team that supports their work,” Joserhart said. “I am so grateful for my colleagues at Alexander Jewish Family Service for their commitment to our shared mission and goals.”
The Houston Business Journal selected honorees based on their career achievements, leadership skills and community involvement, including service on nonprofit boards and volunteer roles.
Throughout his career, Josehart has demonstrated a commitment to social justice and expanding access to services for underserved and historically marginalized populations, including individuals affected by poverty, discrimination, and inequities. He has also advocated for LGBTQ equality.
Josehart serves on the Mayor’s LGBTQ Advisory Board in Houston, which acts as a liaison between Houston’s LGBTQ community and the mayor’s office and provides recommendations on social, economic, and political issues affecting LGBTQ residents.
