(Photo credit: New Leaders Council) Six students and alumni of the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis have been selected as New Leaders Council Institute fellows. The New Leaders Council works to promote progressive thought leadership among Millennials, with 48 chapters across the United States. Each fellow gains access to a six-month training program that prepares participants with the skills to run for office, manage campaigns and pioneer start-ups. Fellows then take their education and experience back to their communities to foster activism and impact progressive change as civic leaders.
