Biography
Jihye Lee is a Ph.D. candidate in Social Work at the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis. Her research examines how immigration policies shape the economic integration and well-being of forcibly displaced people, with a particular focus on digital inclusion as a stepping-stone toward – or a barrier to – integration. Drawing on quantitative, qualitative, and computational methods, she studies how economic integration is defined and measured in research and policy, and how refugees and immigrants themselves understand and experience it.
