Meet us in St. Louis on Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5 for Admitted Students Weekend 2025! 

This invaluable on-campus experience will introduce prospective students to the incredible connections and community available at the WashU Brown School.  Meet other members of your cohort, learn at a sample faculty lecture, get a taste of local St. Louis culture, and connect with valuable student resources during this two-day event.  Registration is now open and the deadline to register is March 26.  We hope to see you there!

Schedule Sneak Peek

Admitted Students Weekend is designed as a two-day event, and we want you to get the most out of your time on campus!  We plan for all students to attend both Friday and Saturday to fully participate in all activities.

Friday, April 4

12 – 3pm: Arrival and Check-in at Goldfarb Hall
12 – 3pm: Resource Fair featuring over 30 Brown School and WashU student services – including research centers, student groups, health services, and more
12 – 3pm: WashU Tours and Brown School Tours

  • WashU Tours will depart at 12:30pm & 1:30pm
  • Brown School Tours will depart at 12:30pm, 1pm, 1:30pm, and 2 pm

3 – 4pm: Brown School Faculty Panel
4 – 5pm: Community Welcome Reception with Faculty and Staff

Saturday, April 5

9 – 9:30am: Light Breakfast and Check In
9:30 – 10am: Welcome and Remarks from Dean Dorian Traube
10 – 10:45am: Curriculum and Practicum Overviews

Lodging Assistance

Charles F. Knight Executive Education & Conference Center

To help admitted students from beyond the St. Louis area be able to attend ASW, the Brown School is offering a limited number of paid rooms at the Charles F. Knight Executive Education & Conference Center for the nights of Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5.  The Knight Center is conveniently housed on the west side of WashU’s campus, and a golf cart will be available to help transport guests to the Brown School. 

If you would like to reserve a free room, please let us know when you submit your Admitted Students Weekend registration.  Availability is on a first come, first served basis until the room block is fully booked, and every effort will be made to honor your room preferences. 

Looking for other options or making your own accommodations? There are plenty of other places to stay close to campus. Be sure to ask if they have a discounted rate for WashU visitors!

Getting to the Brown School

The Brown School’s campus-within-a-campus is located on the south side of WashU’s Danforth Campus. Admitted Students Weekend programming will take place in all three of our buildings: Goldfarb Hall, Brown Hall, and Hillman Hall.  Specific directions to the Brown School including driving directions, parking information, and mass transit options are available online.  ASW attendees staying at the Knight Center on campus can find driving directions and parking details on their website.

What to do Around The Lou

If you’ll be visiting from out of town, we encourage you to spend some time exploring our city.

  • Learn more about the St. Louis region here.

  • St. Louis is a great place to grab a bite. Explore the STL dining scene here. The closest neighborhoods to campus are Clayton, the Central West End, and University City/Delmar Loop.
