Whether you select from our library of pre-developed workshops, seamlessly integrate accredited continuing education into your existing programs, or collaborate with us to design a fully customized training solution, we build experiences tailored to your unique objectives and can be adapted to reflect your organization’s context, priorities, and practice environment.
As an approved provider in the States of Missouri and Illinois, the Professional Development team at Washington University’s Brown School can provide continuing education credits (CEs) for quality social work professional education offerings.

The Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis is an approved provider of social work CEs in Missouri and Illinois, as well as being a CSWE accredited MSW program. Licensure rules vary state to state. Some states may have reciprocity agreements with Missouri or Illinois; some jurisdictions allow CEs from any CSWE accredited program. If it’s not clear to you how a program like ours fits into your state’s rules, we encourage you to contact your state’s board.

AWSB ACE continuing education credits may be available for pre-build Brown School CE programs. The Brown School, Washington University in St. Louis, Professional Development, provider #2130, is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 9/24/2025 – 9/24/2028. *ACE is not available for custom or private programs.

Looking for a CE partner for your existing training? If you already have your content ready to go, we can handle the accreditation. As an approved provider in the States of Missouri and Illinois, the Professional Development Program at Washington University’s Brown School will provide continuing education credits (CEs) for quality social work professional education offerings at approved partner organizations.
To apply, please submit your completed application at least 60 days in advance, including all of the following:

Need a custom training solution built from scratch? Planning and developing a training program can be overwhelming. Let us handle the heavy lifting—including strategy, content development, and final rollout.
Whether virtual or in-person, our custom trainings are available in 3, 6, 9, and 12 hour formats. Pricing is tiered based on the number of participants and the length of the training. Because custom trainings include tailored content, private delivery, and flexible scheduling, rates differ from our public workshops. Certificate fees for custom programs are built into the agreed fee amount. Custom programs can start for as little as $1,000. Organizations interested in a custom training are encouraged to contact us to discuss goals, audience size, and preferred format so that we can provide an accurate quote.
